Schedule & Rates

• Airport greeting in Padang and transfer to the harbour or to a transit hotel (hotel costs not included).
• 11 nights onboard Tengirri in air-conditioned accommodation, surfing and exploring the Mentawai or Telo Islands.
• Early access to waves the morning after arriving in Padang.
• Return to Padang by Day 10 afternoon, arriving in time for your flight home on the final day.
• All meals included, along with snacks, water, soft drinks, coffee, tea, and 30 cartons of Bintang per charter (extra beer and alcohol available at local prices upon request).
• Full use of onboard equipment, including fishing gear, snorkelling gear, magazines, books, dinghy transfers to and from the lineup, and an entertainment setup with movies and music.
• Free photo and video service with DSLR cameras. The crew will shoot throughout the trip and transfer all images and clips to your USB drive at the end of the charter.
• Starlink high-speed internet with speeds up to 220 Mbps, available throughout the trip.
• Experienced Western surf guide and skipper with years of knowledge in the region.
• Assistance with flights to and from Padang after your itinerary is confirmed.

Please Note:

• Arrive in Padang no later than 8 a.m. on departure day. We strongly recommend arriving the afternoon before and overnighting in Padang.
• Mentawai Surfer Tax is required and must be paid in Indonesian Rupiah upon arrival in Padang. This fee is not included in the charter price.

Important Booking Information

Travel Insurance:

• Travel insurance is compulsory and must include MedEvac coverage and protection for lost charter days due to emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.
• It is strongly recommended to purchase travel insurance when you make your first deposit.
• A copy of your insurance policy must be submitted with your final payment.
• Some of our past passengers have used www.surftravelinsurance.com.au.

Deposit and Payment Schedule:

• A non-refundable and non-transferable first deposit is required to confirm your booking.
• A second non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is due five months (150 days) before departure.
• The remaining balance must be paid three months (90 days) before the trip begins.
• Tengirri charters will only proceed once all payments are received in full at least 90 days prior to departure.
• If you book the whole boat, you are responsible for the full boat price regardless of changes in group size.

Guest Numbers and Availability:

• Maximum number of guests per charter is eight.
• Priority is given to full boat bookings.
• Single or part-boat bookings may be accepted within six months of the departure date, depending on availability.

Pricing Notes:

• Prices are Padang to Padang and do not include international flights or any additional nights needed before or after your charter.
• Please refer to Whats Included for full inclusions.

Refunds and Conditions:

• There are no refunds or partial refunds for poor surf, weather conditions, itinerary changes, mechanical delays, or logistical issues beyond our control.
• Confirmation will be emailed each time a payment is received.
• A final itinerary will be sent after full payment is completed.

Travel Documents:

• Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your date of entry into Indonesia.
• Visa-free entry is available for citizens of most countries for stays up to 30 days. This entry cannot be extended. Please check eligibility before travel.

Airline Information:

• Tengirri Surf Charters is not responsible for international airfares, excess baggage fees, or airline baggage policies.
• We cannot accept responsibility or provide refunds for late arrival of guests, delayed flights, or lost surfboards or luggage.
